So far this week I feel like I am running in circles. I don't think I have ever been sick for a whole week and even now I am not back to 100% but there is so much to get done.
Jeremy does a great job of holding down the fort as a single parent when I am sick. He cooks, cleans, does laundry, entertains the kids, goes to work......how I love that man. Even with all the things he does there are still a weeks worth of things that need to be done.

The list keeps going but you get the idea. It is just the little things but when you make the list it can be a little overwhelming. I am happy to report I got most of my list done today!
Don't all these nasty germs know that Mommy has no time to be sick?

Thankful
I am always thankful for my sweet husband and wonderful kids but this week I am beyond thankful for them.
I have not had strep throat since I was a child until this weekend. I am just now starting to feel human again after three trips to the doctor, two antibiotics that won't help, now I am on two antibiotics and a steroid. I am a walking pharmacy right now.
I have not been the best patient in the world either.....I may just be a little demanding when I am sick. But they love me anyway. I think me losing my voice has freaked the kids out more than anything. They just stare at me and say when will you get your voice back.
Poor Jeremy is probably hearing in his sleep....can I have a water, can I have a Tylenol, can I have a soup, how about a green tea, I need Motrin, popsicle would be nice, can I have hot chocolate, how about warm water because cold burns my throat. Lucky for him I lost my voice so he didn't have to hear it very long.
Like I said I am thankful because I know I could not put up with me during this sickness.

A Great School Day
I love it when I can say that at the end of the day.
We have been learning so many new things this week and we all are having fun. Cole and Adrienne both LOVE to learn. They get excited when you tell them we are going to learn something new today. They make the job of being their "teacher" so easy.....most of the time.
Today is not our normal school day because Adrienne is not feeling the best and we had to take a trip to the doctor this morning. Just because it is not a "normal" school day does not mean there is not a lot of learning going on here.
Right now Cole is reading Encyclopedia Brown Cracks the Case and Adrienne is painting. We are going to break out our activity bags, play a few board games, and after lunch watch an episode of Life.
I love being able to teach my children at home!
